Hotseat Booking

Switching from Square Appointments to Hotseat

If your shop books through Square Appointments today, moving to Hotseat takes an afternoon. Your clients come with you, your prices stay yours, and you get pricing that fills your quiet hours.

What comes with you

  • Your customer list - names, phone numbers, emails and notes - from Square's customer export.
  • Upcoming appointments, from a spreadsheet. Hotseat's import screen shows the columns it needs and previews everything first.
  • Your services and prices, set up once for the shop - each stylist can adjust their own price and timing.
  • Your team, each with their own login, hours and calendar.

How the move works

  1. Start your free trial and add your services.
  2. In your Square Dashboard, open your customers and export them as a spreadsheet file.
  3. Drop the file into Hotseat and check the preview before anything is added.
  4. Share your new booking link and switch off online booking in Square.

What's different on Hotseat

  • Dynamic pricing built in, inside a floor and ceiling you choose.
  • Card payments go through Stripe, straight to your bank. Clients can pay with Apple Pay or a saved card.
  • No-show and late-cancel fees charge the card on file, with a first-time grace period.
  • $19 per chair a month, never more than $149 for the whole shop.
