How Dynamic Pricing works
Quiet times ease below your price, in-demand times rise a little, inside limits you set.
Your menu price is the starting point. Dynamic Pricing watches how full each stylist's days are getting and how far ahead people book:
- Quiet times ease a little below your price, to fill the chair.
- In-demand times rise a little.
- A day less than 60% booked never goes above your price, however busy the rest of the calendar is. Busier days show how full they are ("75% booked") right beside the price.
- Everything stays between a floor and a ceiling you set.
Clients always see the price before they book, and a booked price never changes. A client who rebooks at checkout keeps today's price.
Prices start from each stylist's own price, not just the menu's, and Reports measure from that too.
Pick a starting point - three ready-made settings, or your own numbers: - Building my book: as low as 30% under your price, up to 20% over. - Steady and growing: as low as 15% under, up to 50% over. - Booked out: never under your price, up to twice it. - Custom: set the lowest and highest yourself.
Turn it on or off and choose in Team Settings → (name) → Pricing, or set the shop's starting point in Salon Settings → Dynamic pricing (a stylist with their own numbers keeps them). With it off, every booking is the stylist's own price.
