Why does the shop ask for a card?

Your card holds your appointment. Nothing is charged until your visit.

Saving a card holds your spot, like a hotel. Nothing is charged when you book. You pay after your visit, and the same card makes checkout one tap.

If you cancel late or miss the appointment, the shop's policy (shown when you book) may charge a fee to that card.

Your card is stored securely by Stripe. The shop and Hotseat never see the full number.
